Enter this competition to win a $30 Serendipity Books gift card for first place, or a $20 Serendipity Books gift card as the runner-up.

If you are willing to travel just over thirty minutes, Roxbury Farms in Ypsilanti offers a haunted trail Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, at 7:35 p.m. The cost to get in is a non-perishable food or hygiene item in support of the Hope Clinic Pantry in Ypsilanti.

In Ann Arbor, AR Workshop offers a Halloween fondant cupcake class on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

If you are willing to travel to Ohio, this one’s for you. Cedar Point is celebrating twenty-five years of HalloWeekends and welcomes you on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from now until October 30.

As the sky grows dark, fright zones, haunted houses, and scary scenes all open up for those who dare to enter the fog-covered paths and terrifying trails, so make sure to check out these events this spooky season, and have a great Halloween.
