Tom Holland and Zendaya’s relationship has been a roller coaster of emotion! They first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, and their chemistry was obvious right away. Over the years, they have been spotted together having fun from hangouts to red carpet events. Fans can’t stop wondering if they were more than just friends. 

“I think that their relationship influenced their public selves. They seem more relaxed and confident since being together,” sophomore Brendon Skinner said.

Their relationship has also shocked some of their fans as they didn’t think it would last, as many relationships don’t in Hollywood.

“It was surprising because of how long they have lasted. Most celebrity relationships don’t last that long,” Freshman Mara Gray said.

Others were amazed that they were able to keep it secret for so long. In Hollywood, it’s so hard to stay out of the spotlight with so many paparazzi and fans around.

“ The most surprising thing about them is how they kept their love life private for so long before confirming that they were together,” Skinner said. 

Skinner has noticed how comfortable they are going out in public together now. They are no longer trying to hide it and can be more of themselves.

“The difference between then and now is how open they became because before they were private and now, they go out in the open together and it seems like they are more comfortable sharing little moments with the public,” Skinner said.

Being a movie star can be challenging to balance a life of privacy with a life of fame. Zendaya and Tom did a great job balancing their lives to allow their fans to share moments with them, while still being able to have moments of privacy.

“It’s nice how they seem to balance their fame together. It looks like they balance their personal life and their careers well,” Skinner said.
