Everyone who has ever talked to freshman Aaron Jahr has seen the happiness he is always beaming with. We all know it and love it, but while the team manager for the freshman football team Jahr brings another level of enthusiasm to the sideline. He is truly the heart and soul of the team.
“I love being the team manager because of how good the players are and how nice they are to me,” Aaron Jahr said.
Aaron brings a lot of positivity, and along with that joy comes a lot of great memories from the team.
“One of my favorite memories is after I scored a touchdown,” freshman Josh Stephens said. “As soon as I got to the sideline, the first person I saw was Aaron ready to congratulate me.”
Aaron creates memories not just for one player on the team but for everyone. He does it just by being himself around people. These are memories these players will not soon forget.
“Some of my favorite memories during the games is when I would get to the sideline and almost always Aaron would tell me I was doing a great job,” freshman Jackson Ichesco said.
Being the manager of any team is a big job, but Aaron sees it as a bonding experience with his best friends.
“He loves going to practice and showing up to the games every day after school,” senior Kyle Jahr said. “He comes home every day with stories about how football practice went and they are always good stories.”
Having Aaron as the team manager is a mutually rewarding experience for the team as a whole and Aaron personally.
“He brings a lot of motivation to the team and makes going to football [practice] more fun for everyone,” freshman Nolan Sciackatano said. “I like how much joy and energy he brings when he enters a room.”
