With CHS beginning a new year, this also means new student sections with new themes. CHS has done this for many years and is prepared to show the students what’s in store for this year, but what do the students think about this?

“I’d have to say color blast, because it was pretty fun and I got to get color on me,” freshman Macaela Webber said.

We also interviewed senior Avery Lay and got her opinion on how she feels about the student section themes

“My favorite student section theme is frat out,” senior Avery Lay said. “We haven’t done it this year, but we did it in past years, and I thought it was really fun.”

Since Lay is a senior she has gotten many different experiences and thinks some are more fun than others, she even thinks maybe the other themes should be brought back.

“My least favorite student section theme is Color Blast because it’s really messy,” Lay said. “It dyed my hair pink and ruined my car,” 

Most students enjoy the themes but what about the environment, is it just the themes that make it fun for students?

“I don’t like whiteout, but I always have a lot of fun at the football games no matter what the theme is for the student section,” Webber said.
