Movie Review: Uncharted
Based on the video game Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, the film Uncharted follows Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and Victor Sullivan (Mark Walhberg) on their treasure hunting journey to uncover lost gold and find Nathan’s long lost brother Sam (Rudy Pankow).
As Drake and Sullivan search for the “Gold,” the film takes the viewer on a journey exploring the challenges the heroes face along the way. While on the hunt, Drake and Sullivan come face to face with opponents who have the same goal, to find the “Gold,” leading the two adventurers closer to danger and the treasure they so desperately want.
In its first 2 weeks of being released onto the big screen “Uncharted” earned the title of being the number 1 movie in the world. Fans of the film can only hope to see more of Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan working together as the duo no one knew they couldn’t live without. Until then the world will sit back and reflect on what they just witnessed on the big screen.
With its comedic value, unpredictable plot, and jaw-dropping action, Uncharted is the perfect movie for anyone who loves action and adventure films with a slice of comedy.
