Movie Review: To All the Boys: Always and Forever
If you enjoy watching teenage rom-coms or have enjoyed the previous movies in this trilogy by Jenny Han, then the Netflix original To All the Boys: Always and Forever, featuring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, is the movie for you.
The movie follows Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky through their senior year of high school as they battle making college decisions and how to handle their relationship throughout college. After a family trip to Korea and a senior trip to New York City, Lara Jean reconsiders her college plans, whether they include Peter or not.
This movie shows strong relationships with Lara Jean and Peter, as well as with Lara Jean and her family. It taught me, and I’m sure many others, that you should make your decisions based on what you truly want, not what others want or what you think you want. With lots of love and humor, this movie received a 6.3/10 rating on IMDb and an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I would recommend this movie to people who enjoy teenage romance and a strong female lead.
