Before caps are tossed and the 2024-2025 school year comes to an end, juniors and seniors get one last night of fun party filled events. With the theme of Enchanted Forest, CHS 2025 prom was brought to life at Revel Run. Lights hung, bonfires lit, Photo Booth set, and the most eye-catching pieces: the outfits.
“I think prom was a super fun night. It was an opportunity for everyone to look good and feel good in their own way,” Kylan Van Batavia (‘26) said.
As students planned to “dress to impress” many decided on colors that made them “look good and feel good.” With a variety of different colors and styles in store offered or online, it leaves many options of attire to choose from and the decision to pick from harder.
“I had gone to Briarwood in Ann Arbor to look for dresses and I was going for a pink or blue dress but a lot of the stuff they had in stock was very light and spring-colored,” Bella Radomski (‘26) said. “There were definitely lots of reds, yellows or pinks on the racks. I’m sure those colors will be a popular pick.”
While some fight to find the dress that fits just right, others have just as big of a challenge: tie or bow tie?
“I prefer ties because I think they stand out more and are cooler looking,” Ronan King (‘26) said. “I think bow ties are still cool, but personally they just aren’t for me.”
While the debate to pick a bow tie or tie depends on each person’s opinion, everyone showed up to prom looking unforgettable and unique.
“Prom is an opportunity for people to express themselves and I’m excited to see what everyone’s wearing,” Radomski said.
