Jacob’s Take:

I recently tried the Wendy’s Krabby Patty Meal, and I have to say, it was quite a tasteful experience. The packaging was colorful and playful, definitely capturing the spirit of SpongeBob SquarePants and also including some stickers of SpongeBob to create the full show feeling. The meal included the Krabby Patty Burger, normal fries, and an interesting Pineapple Vanilla Frosty. 

The burger itself was surprisingly tasty. The bun was soft and toasted just right, and the patty was juicy and well-seasoned. The Burger included fresh pickles and onion that added a flavorful kick along with some American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and the special Krabby Patty Sauce. The sauce was one of the best parts of the meal and added an amazing creamy almost seafood flavor to the burger.

As for the fries, they were classic Wendy’s fries—crispy and perfectly seasoned, bringing together the full round burger meal. I chose a lemonade to drink, which was a great match for the meal. Pairing with the sauce from the burger brought out an under the sea feeling.

The Pineapple Vanilla Frosty was much different than a normal Frosty including a swirl of sweet pineapple filling around the edges of it, and a hint of caramel below the layer of pineapple that added a really good flavor to put the true feeling of the pineapple under the sea.

Overall, the Krabby Patty Meal was a delightful surprise. It brought a bit of nostalgia while delivering solid flavor. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re in the mood for something fun!

As a fan of fast food, at first I was surprised when I heard about the Chicken Big Mac. This twist on the iconic Big Mac features chicken instead of beef, and I was quite excited to give it a try.

Taking my first bite was quite the experience. The chicken patties are crisp yet juicy. The flavor is mild yet satisfying. The mild flavor lets the original Big Mac sauce shine through. Speaking of the sauce, it works with the chicken well, providing that original flavor and texture that McDonald’s enjoyers expect.

The texture is the main feature of the sandwich. The contrast between the crunchy chicken and the soft bun creates a satisfying crunch, something that the original lacks. The lettuce adds a nice crispness, while the pickles introduce a strong tang that cuts through the sweeter Big Mac sauce.While the Chicken Big Mac is undeniably delicious, it does stray a bit from the original Big Mac experience. The absence of beef means the flavor shifts toward a lighter, less savory taste. However, the combination of flavors works just as good, making it a worthy alternative for chicken lovers.

The only reason to not eat the chicken Big Mac is the price tag. With a 40-cent difference between the Chicken Big Mac and its beef counterpart, this menu item brings a new flavor but also comes with a new cost. Personally I think the sacrifice is worth it for the unique taste of the sandwich.

Overall, the Chicken Big Mac is a tasty twist on the classic Big Mac. It’s a solid option for those looking to switch things up without completely abandoning the familiar taste of the Big Mac. While it may not replace the original, it certainly offers a tasty, satisfying alternative. If you’re in the mood for something different tasting but still want that classic McDonald’s taste, the Chicken Big Mac is definitely worth your time.
